During light load,EIA1466goes into aPFMmode that saves sithingloss ahievinghighefcienc. The adaptive COT control also maintains aconstant switchingfrequency aCrosS line and load. An 0VP function protects the IC itself andits downstream system against input voltage surges. With this OVPfunction, the IC can stand off input voltage as high as 25V, making itanideal solution for indutrial aplications such as LCD TV, Set Top Box,Portable TV, etc.ETA1466 is ailable in SOT23-6 package.
